Watch as Finn Wolfhard wonders whether or not his scenes will even make the final cut, Bill Murray wonders why he's still alive, and we wonder if a single person involved in making this movie had any interest in it whatsoever. PLOT (via Wiki) Three years after Summerville, Callie Spengler (Carrie Coon), her boyfriend Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd), her kids Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and Phoebe (Mckenna Grace), and friends Lucky Domingo (Celeste O'Connor) and Podcast (Logan Kim) move to New York City to help Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) and Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) revive the Ghostbusters. After capturing a ghost in Hell's Kitchen, Walter Peck (William Atherton), now mayor, threatens to shut them down. Callie removes Phoebe from the team to appease him. Phoebe, upset, plays chess in a park and befriends a ghost named Melody (Emily Alyn Lind). Ray and Podcast collect cursed objects, including a brass orb from Nadeem Razmaadi (Kumail Nanjiani). Testing it, they release a cold wave that damages their ecto-containment unit. Winston takes the orb to Dr. Lars Pinfield's (James Acaster) research center, but they can't extract its energy. They visit Nadeem, who reveals the orb was hidden by his grandmother. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) discovers Nadeem has pyrokinetic powers. Ray, Phoebe, and Podcast learn from librarian Dr. Hubert Wartzki (Patton Oswalt) that the orb was made by the Firemasters to trap the phantom god Garraka, who could kill by fear. Garraka's power is suppressed by copper and fire. The Ghostbusters attempt to stop a ghost from stealing a phonographic recording of the club's ritual, but Peck uses Phoebe's involvement to shut them down. Phoebe runs away and uses Winston's equipment to project herself as a ghost. Melody, Garraka's secret ally, helps him escape, leading to citywide freezing. The Ghostbusters defend their headquarters, aided by Nadeem in Firemaster armor. Garraka breaches the containment unit. Phoebe modifies her proton pack with copper; Melody, betrayed by Garraka, helps Nadeem weaken him. Ray and the veteran Ghostbusters trap Garraka using the damaged containment unit. Melody reconciles with Phoebe before departing for the afterlife. The city thaws, and the Ghostbusters are hailed as heroes, with Peck reinstating Phoebe. This is an audio commentary ONLY.
