Two Saint Leo Brothers on their spiritual formation to be Saint Leo Monks gave us the tour of The Virgin Mary Grotto, which the gate remains closed to the public because the tomb of the first Abbot lies inside, Abbot Charles Henry Moore. The second one, Jesus Christ Grotto that was modeled from the one in Gethsemane. The Virgin Mary Grotto has a hidden bell inside the rock tower padlocked and the Brother with us is buffed that he couldn’t reach the ringer. Luckily, we have a guy with us who is tall and skinny and was able to reach the ringer. The brother with us said the bell haven’t been rang for years before today. Such a blessing to learn about the history of this Monastery.
