24 Hours of Appalachia Haunted Holler II Part 2

Haunted Holler II! The final 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally for 2025 was held in the Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky. Starting in Booneville the route traversed 430 miles of Kentuckys most beautiful and rugged terrain. Passing through the Red River Gorge as well as other amazing locations. I ended up finished in 14hours which put me in 6th position. Due to my wreck I couldn't push as hard as I would have liked. 24 Hours of Appalachia is a rally series that holds events for Dual Sports, SxS's, Jeeps and Full Size rigs. The goal is to finish the route within 24 hours. There are no big prizes, just the respect and clout that comes from dominating one of these events. Rallies are held in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky with distances from 400 all the way up to 600 miles. Navigation is one of the big challenges. wether you choose a DMD2, Garmin, or Rally Tab making on the fly decisions could mean the difference between taking your class or driving the wrong direction for 40 miles (its happened). 24 Hours of Appalachia is part of the Back Roads of Appalachia organization. The goal is to drive tourism through motorsport bringing revenue to the small mountain towns of the region. For more information check out the Back Roads of Appalachia website linked below. I run a 2024 Husqvarna "Husky" FE501S and in my opinion it's the best bike ever made. It's pretty stock, of course I have the ECU upgraded with the Athena Get ECU from Taco Moto. Last but not least the Ruby Moto R7 Headlight, this one is super important for the rallies since you'll be running at night. In the past Ive also run my Tenere 700 for the less intense rallies. All you'll really need for an ADV bike is a good skid, like a B&B skid plate and some Auxiliary lighting. Oh and don't forget a comfy seat. On my T7 I run a Renazco Racing seat and it's truly amazing. For This Rally I ran a set of Motoz Enduro I/T tires. In the past I have run Pirelli rally race tires that I really liked.
