Senggigi Lombok’s hidden treasures: Beach, temple, market, and harbour life!

I’m in Senggigi, Lombok, exploring some of the most iconic spots you need to visit on your next trip to Indonesia. My first stop is Pura Batu Bolong, a beautiful seaside Hindu temple built on black volcanic rock with a natural hole facing the ocean. It’s the perfect place to take in sweeping views of the Lombok Strait and even catch sight of Bali’s Mount Agung in the distance. I also explore the Senggigi Art Market, where local artisans sell handmade crafts, paintings, textiles, and souvenirs. It’s the best spot to experience local culture and take a piece of Lombok home with you. Next, I head down to Senggigi Beach, famous for its golden sand, calm waves, and stunning sunsets. The coastline here is one of the most popular in Lombok, making it ideal for swimming, relaxing, or simply enjoying the view. Finally, I visit Senggigi Harbour, the main gateway for travellers heading to the Gili Islands and Bali. The harbour is busy with boats and offers incredible ocean views.
