Andrew Dreslin discusses several issues concerning men's health: Prostate cancer and screenings Testicular cancer and screenings Suicide Sexual Health Prostate cancer in men is more prevalent the older they get it. It often has no symptoms until it is advanced. However, it can be detected at its early stages through screening methods, typically in the form of a blood test called a PSA. It's recommended that men get annual screenings for prostate cancer from age 55-70. Globally, 60 men an hour die from suicide. In 2021, Vermont Health Officials reported its highest annual rate of suicide in men. There were 114 male suicide deaths with 70% of them between the ages of 25-64. It's recommended men perform self-screenings monthly starting at the age of 16. You're feeling for anything out of the ordinary, including tender areas.
