A brass adaptor for use in classic Mini Minor A series engines in the cooling system. In this video, I have to go through a couple of set up changes to find what works. I usually use gang tools and the turret, not possible with this job so all tools are setup in the turret. 3/4"hex brass held in a 5C collet. Carbide insert for aluminium is used for turning the brass. Full thread profile carbide insert is used to cut the thread. CNC stub drill used to drill the hole. Parted off using a Kennametal 1.6 wide grooving tool. Lathe is a Hercus PC 200 cnc lathe made in Australia. Run from a PC using DOS operating system with CAD/CAM software to draw the parts and create the G code
