Family is the most fundamental institution that defines human civilization. Our families are the group of people who we have a shared ancestry with, grow up with, and raise. It's our mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, cousins, sons, daughters, and our blood relatives. Family is what defines who we are and instills values and morals we hold for the rest of our lives. Though, while this is usually the case, we can also view family in a different light. A light that is just as powerful, through the lens of a found family. A family you find is a part of that goes beyond just blood relations. It's our best friends, community, and other special bonds. This is the group we find ourselves in and have a family away from family. Family in its purest form can be seen in two ways. Ways that I believe, are different , but can be equally as important.
