A few years later, after being in and out of the ICU and rehab, he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS). A double diagnosis that his Doctor at Hospital for Special Care had never seen before. But David doesn't let his diseases get in the way of his positive outlook.
