Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Mor-ryde Step Above Strut Assist, fold down steps for a 23 3/4 inch to 24 1/4 inch wide RV door frames. Now these are a strut assist RV step, so it makes it very easy to get into and out of your travel trailer or fifth wheel. The built in gas struts over here will let you lift and lower the steps, basically with one finger. You just simply fold them down for use and then fold it back up for travel. Now on the second step from the top, they do offer a grab handle, that'll help you just lower it down. Now it does use the dual gas struts over here on the left side of the mounting bracket and that's to lift and lower the steps, makes it a very weightless operation. As we've mentioned, you can just pretty much use one finger and it's a lightweight pull-down design. Now for this demonstration, we did have to detach the struts from their connection points, otherwise it'd be forcing it up, so just to give you an idea that's where the dual struts would be. And when they do go up, the steps will lock into place and they stow inside your entry door when they're not being used, this will help keep your steps protected from the elements during travel, provides a nice alternative to installing them under the door so it eliminates the need to have to cut into your metal skirting of your RV. Next feature I want to talk about is the leg extensions, I'm going to zoom in on those just so we can talk about them and you can see both of them right there. There's one on this side and then there's one on this other side right here. These will create a nice sturdy connection with the ground to eliminate any bounce, does reduce the potential for slipping or falling during use. You can see the feet at the bottom of the legs, they do swivel so they will adjust also to level your stairs. And what's nice about it, if you notice right up here, you can see this trigger here, if you push in on that, that'll allow you to retract those leg extensions. So if you push that, you can push them back in all the way and then push it up for storage. What's nice about it, is to extend the legs, you don't have to worry about pushing that lever because they will pull out as far as you need automatically, you don't have to push the lever. So it makes it easier to get the correct height you need for your stairs to be level. And these legs, these extensions do adjust in one inch increments for a total of about 13 inches of adjustable length. Now this is a four step assembly, has the extra deep top step for easy entry and exit. And also on the left-hand side at the very bottom right here there's two threaded inserts here and two threaded inserts there. What that's far as a hand rail. If you want to install a hand rail on this it's not included, but we do sell it separately, if you do want to use one, it is part number MR73AR and it's listed on this product page as a related product, it would just bolt onto those threaded inserts and give you a hand rail if needed. Now the stairs are an anti-slip design, they offer excellent traction. They have a nice textured surface on them to provide traction in wet or muddy conditions. And if you see on the very front of each step they do use the non-slip tread tape to help prevent slipping. These are aluminum construction, so they are rust-proof, scratch resistant, and because they're aluminum, they're very lightweight. So when you use the strut assist to lift them they'll lift up very easily. And as we mentioned, pull down is very easy also. Now, right up here, they do use a powder-coated steel frame which is corrosion resistant, even the brackets are all coated and when you do get these they are pretty much pre-assembled for easy installation, it does come with a bag of screws for mounting it to your threshold and the door frame. Now these steps are made in the USA. Few specs I do want to mention that are needed to make sure this will fit your vehicle. First one is entry height, and entry height would be the measurement from the ground to the threshold of your door, to where you enter into it. So that height, these will fit a entry height of 36 1/2 inches to 42 1/2 inches. And then the other measurement is the doorway width. So these stairs will fit a doorway width from 23 3/4 inches wide to 24 1/4 inches wide. Now the width of the steps, we'll measure inside the inside. It's going to be right at 19 1/2 inches for the width. The depth of the steps, we've mentioned this top step is goin
