The VEOX aseptic mixproof valve with steam barrier guarantees process safety and the integrity of manufactured products. Designed from a VEOX independent double plug valve, it reliably isolates the valve's 2-lines tahnks to a sterile chamber. It also protects the inside of the valve from the outside environment. The aseptic double-barrier valve is a crucial piece of equipment for sanitary applications in the food and chemical industries, requiring a high level of asepsis. EHEDG-certified, it offers numerous advantages for guaranteeing the safety and quality of manufactured products. The steam loop effectively sterilises components in contact with the outside environment before they come into contact with the process fluid when the valves are operated. The double barrier aseptic valve is 100% maintainable, making it easy to service. The upper plug is machined from a single piece of material and requires no seals, which reduces maintenance costs. What's more, the machined PEEK material is insulating and 60 times less heat conductive than stainless steel, which reduces the risk of crusting. The design of the valve also eliminates the need for a diaphragm, which can be complex to maintain and clean. The valve is fitted with a radial seal on the lower plug with a stainless steel insert. This extends the service life of the seal and reduces the frequency of replacement. The adaptability of this aseptic double plug valve is also an advantage. Bodies are available from DN1‘’ to DN3‘’, allowing easy installation without the need for eccentric reducers.
