Touring Our 75th Anniversary Exhibit | Cal State LA University Library

Nestled in the heart of the Los Angeles area, Cal State LA has been a pillar here for 75 years. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, the University Library presents an exhibition featuring archival documents, photographs, and artifacts from Special Collections and Archives to commemorate our university – We Are LA: Uncovering 75 Years of Legacy in the University Archives. To honor the seven decades of our university, the team curated several sections that focus on students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the campus community. We developed a timeline on significant events that affected Cal State LA and the greater Los Angeles Area, showcased student fashions on campus through the decades, showed the contributions of STEM classes, and highlighted all aspects of student life: from student organizations to athletics and spirit. In centering Cal State LA history and students, faculty, staff, alumni, and campus community, Cal State LA will continue to dedicate itself to the public good of Los Angeles and beyond.
