Turning TREEs into WOOD CHIPS with VERMEER CHIPPER | Public Work | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 7

Today we are at Waldstetten and we have to turn the trees we cut last time into wood chips. We started by talking with our accountant about the job location and then we jumped into a Mercedes Sprinter and headed to the Sawmill. When we arrived there, we met with the employer and we cut the trees for the last time. He had a new job for us and it was to turn the trees we cut last time into the wood chips using the wood chipper. So we inspected the equipment he offered us to use and then we returned back to the HQ. We sent the worker in the van to the job location and then we jumped into a Mercedes Unimog U1600 and we headed to the Sawmill. After we got there, we attached Vermeer BC 1500 wood chipper on the back to the Unimog. Then we headed to the job location where we gonna meet with the employer. We got to the location and we parked the truck and wood chipper in the position and then we talked with him. He wanted us to use his MAN HKL truck with a container to transport the wood chips to the Sawmill where they gonna be unloaded. So we jumped into our van and headed to the Sawmill and got the MAN HKL truck. We drove it to the job location and then we were ready to start wood-chipping trees. First, we set up the wood chipper in position and detached it from the truck. Then we backed up the HKL truck to it and unloaded the container and opened up the doors on it. When that was done, we started the wood chipper and feed it with the pieces of the tree. It was going pretty smoothly and we only had to cut the tree trunks into the piece so they could fit into the wood chipper. We ended up doing two trees and we got the container full so we had to transport the wood chips to the Sawmill. After that was done, we returned back to the job location and we did the last tree. Then we unloaded the last load of wood chips at the Sawmill and parked the truck. We got paid 6.000 euros for the job and they also paid all the money we used for the job which was around 4.500 euros. When that was done, we returned the wood chipper and we headed back to the HQ. We parked everything and then we headed inside the house to take a coffee break.
