Catholic Speakers Ken and Janelle share two defining moments of conversion back to the Catholic faith. Both revert to Catholicism through very similar experiences that changed their lives. Catholic couple share their conversion story: Janelle grew up in a Catholic home. She received the sacraments, when to Church every Sunday and from sacramental point of view was full Catholic. However something was missing. What inspired her to revert back to Catholicism? At age 15 she went to a retreat where she heard a message that changed her life. Then three years later something else happen that great affected her Catholic faith. Catholic Speaker and author Ken Yasinski is a revert to Catholicism. Similar to his wife, he also grew up in a Catholic home. He also received the sacraments, went to Church every Sunday, and had a prayer life that was nurtured in the home at a young age. At 18 years old he drifted from his Catholic faith and beginning a living a life centred on self. Then, God used a moment at a retreat to bring about a conversion. This moment helped Ken return to Catholicism and the fullness of faith Christ offers in His Church. The common denominator both Ken and Janelle’s catholic conversion story are: a simple proclamation of the Gospel an invitation to invite Christ to be the centre of life a decision to choose to respond to this invitation an experience of Jesus personal love It is interesting to note these four points are often part of people’s conversion stories to Christ and the Catholic faith. People need to hear a clear and simple proclamation of the Gospel in a way that shows Jesus Christ is relevant as our personal saviour. But the proclamation is not enough. That is just information. A person then needs to be invited to respond to this message. This invitation is really and invitation to conversion. It is an invitation to change our lives and entrust ourselves to Jesus to save us from sin. When this invitation has been made, we can either respond or not. In the conversion stories of Ken and Janelle, by God’s grace, they responded to this invitation by praying and welcoming Christ take control of their lives. This decision was followed in both stories, by a personal experience of Christ love. Looking for Catholic speakers? Visit https://catholicspeaker.com
