I walked the West Highland Way in autumn 2022, the idea was to enjoy the autumn colours and limited daylight, with short easy days. Paul and I walked the Great Glen Way at the same time the year before, and it was glorious - we had high hopes of a similar outcome... The WHW is 96 miles (154 km) long and typically takes 5-8 days to do, depending on fitness and the chosen logistics.
