Tried to get this out before the album came out, but I had so much trouble trying to figure out what program I needed to use for syncing up my audio and video. I used Cubase at first, but I had to reformat the video, and it lowered the quality. Then I tried free editors, all of them wanted me to reformat. Finally, I decided to watch a video on how people go about doing covers, and it made me come up with the solution, which was to find an iPhone app that would edit videos. So now I have my actual audio that I recorded into the computer. Here is the tab, it is not 100% the same as what I’m playing, but it's close. https://www.mediafire.com/file/drdqtb... The violin solos are too particular, and it's about as good as I could make it in guitar tablature. There were many iterations of the chord progression, it's the hardest thing to transcribe for me. Measures 35-50 feels the closest. The others didn't seem right. For the solo, I know that Benjamin plays it differently. I transcribed it based on my interpretation of the studio recording (this was prior to watching him). Where my interpretation differs with his playthrough is that I do some of the natural harmonics in different spots. The fast run, I heard as entirely legato, and B dorian. He plays it in B harmonic minor and does a combination of alternate picking and legato. Lastly is the alternate picking section; I heard different notes and articulation. I really made an effort to bring a better quality performance than in the past. I felt that I prepared correctly, but couldn’t show it in one take because of my nerves with the camera on. Thanks for watching, subscribing, liking, sharing, and especially for the comments. I read and appreciate all of them, even the ones roasting me.
