After last night’s fire on Woodscape Drive, the Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force is working to determine the origin and cause. For this Feature Friday, we’re giving you a look at the kind of training that supports that work. Investigators built and burned a full living room inside a conex box, then examined the patterns left behind to better understand how fire moves through a space. This training helps strengthen the nearly 1,000 investigations the Task Force conducts each year. Watch the burn and see how investigators study the damage to learn what a fire leaves behind.
