We have a 4-day tour through the salt flat's and the desert before we arrive in San Pedro, Atacama, Chile. The elevation on our second day increased and we slept at 4,000 meters. Both Meghan and I were starting to feel sick by the end of the day. We stayed hydrated and we're eating, however, one critical mistake we made was using too much energy.
