This video compares max settings with Path Tracing vs raster. Nothing is changed except that one setting. I am using DLSS Quality with 2x frame gen. Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way since release. It’s wild to think that when I did my first comparison nearly, path tracing wasn’t even available. Today, #Cyberpunk2077 looks incredible and features one of the most impressive lighting systems I’ve ever seen. Since they added path tracing it seem like every update they come out with tweaks it a little bit more. I figured I should head back into Night City and see how it looks without mods! Path tracing with ray reconstruction is now actually playable with DLSS frame generation on, though of course you’ll need a beefy GPU. The results are stunning and it looks better than ever. As you watch the video, think about how light really behaves, shadows, angles, and the direction it travels. That’s what ray tracing brings to the table! Settings are shown at the end of the video.
