Driver arrested after deadly Marsden Park hit and run | 7NEWS

Police have arrested 37-year-old Amy Byers following a three-day manhunt after she allegedly drove her ute into the wrong lane on Richmond Road at Marsden Park, killing motorcyclist James Swainston before fleeing the scene. The 31-year-old victim was a volunteer firefighter with the RFS and is remembered as a much-loved son, brother and boyfriend. Byers faces charges of dangerous driving causing death, failing to stop and assist, and driving while disqualified.
