Case is a real case. Names and location, have been changed for obvious reasons. I did this off the cuff while reading the actual police report, hence the reason I'm looking down. Note: no false arrest. Guilty of stealing. yet the case was dismissed. Reality is guilty people are found innocent or have their charges dismissed often. Its not a perfect system but the players ( police, state attorneys, defense attorneys, judges) must play by the rules. There is a higher standard for the players. Do you agree that charges should have dismissed?
