This angry red beastie crosses the line of amp-pumper (808) into classic overdrive/distortion. The OD808X boasts harder and tighter clipping and an extended high range, which, to my ears, puts it in Treble Booster territory when used with an amp going into break-up. Check out the vid where I use a Tele and SG and make your own mind up. I like it for in-your-face stuff as it has that midrange push that really works on stage.
