Consisting of 511 acres the property sits in the heart of the west side of the Suisun Marsh and is a short drive from Suisun City. The west side has a reputation for having the best waterfowl hunting in the entire marsh. In addition to the great hunting, the Volanti has convenient access from the entire Bay Area and the Sacramento Valley. The club is primarily shallow open water, which traditionally holds large numbers of mallards, sprig, teal, and widgeon. The property parallels the State Fish and Wildlife Joice Island Game Refuge. As with most clubs in the Marsh, access to hunting blinds is provided by boats which travel down boat ditches that directly take the hunters to the duck blinds. The shooting areas contain twenty-one double blinds and one platform blind. The clubhouse is clean and in good condition and encompasses a nice living area and game room with panoramic views of the marsh. The kitchen comes completely furnished and fully equipped for large group entertaining. There are eleven private bungalows and each is comfortable in size with four having their own private boat dock. Other structures include caretakers mobile home, a garage/shop, picking shed and decoy shed. The club has good levees and water control systems. Equipment; includes 3 pieces of marsh equipment; rubber tired bucket loader/mower, 5 yard swamp dump truck and a Komatsu D31P with backhoe attachment are included. When waterfowl limits are filled there is excellent striper & sturgeon fishing from the boat dock and fishing pier on Suisun Slough, lots of pigs on property, pheasant and dove hunting. The Volanti is truly a wonderful year round recreational retreat and provides the perfect opportunity for the next group of outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy for years to come.
