This song is made to represent what i think the novel will look like is someone else were to be in Klein place i mean like one of us as readers, is not connected to any pathway or specific person, lirycs: [1] I swore I'd never cross that line, But Nine was soft, and stars would shine. I touched the spark, it kissed, it bit— And whispered, "This is all you'll get." [2] Through Eight, I smiled and held the weight, My voice still calm, but not my fate. The seams all tore beneath the strain, I laughed to mask the growing pain. [3] Seven nights, I chased the flame, Forgot their faces, lost their names. I called it power—something more— But what I gained, I can't restore. [4] I knew the fear, I made it real, Now all they do is run or kneel. The warmth I fought for turned to glass, They shattered fast—I let it pass. [5] Then Six came crawling, cold and slick, A silence wrapped in thoughts that stick. They begged me back, I played along, A broken note in someone’s song. [6] Five found me high with eyes gone red, They cried, “Turn back!”—but I was dead. My steps were sharp, my heart was blind, They stayed behind—I didn't mind. [7] Between the breaths, I climbed alone, To guard the hearts I'd once called home. Each step, a chain I could not shed, Each rise, a gravestone in my head. [8] At Four, I stepped through something wrong, The world grew faint, the pain grew strong. Their faces faded one by one, Still I believed they'd be undone— [9] They cried for peace, I begged for might, I swore I'd fix what died that night. But every step I claimed as mine Just left another soul behind— [10] By Three, the ground was stained in red, With words I never should’ve said. I called it fate, I called it fire, But all I touched would soon expire— [11] The ones who stayed, they broke, they burned, I couldn’t stop, I never learned. I said I’d bring them back someday, But more kept dying on the way— [12] Then Two arrived with silence cold, The light was fake, the dark was bold. I blamed the path, I blamed the flame, But deep inside, I knew my name— [13] Their hope was gone, their hearts were dust, They turned to ash because of trust. And every grave I left behind Still whispered truths I wouldn’t find— [14] At One, no echoes met my voice, No gods, no stars, no second choice. No hands to hold, no breath to lend— Just me and what I couldn’t mend— A king of ruin at the end. Zero... I lost what kept me whole. A god in flesh, but not a soul. The thing I fought to hold me sane— The madness running through my veins. First like a curse, now feeling soft, The only friend that didn’t pay the cost.
