The South American country seemed to have the virus under control thanks to the strict quarantine imposed by President Alberto Fernández since 20 March, recording only a few cases, but five months later the outlook has changed completely. The economic crisis and quarantine fatigue has caused Argentines to withdraw support of the strict measures, while the authorities have also relaxed control. For Liliana González, who was infected while working in a geriatric home, recovery is still a work in progress. Three months after getting rid of the virus, she still feels tired and weak. "I don't know if I'm going to return to a normal life, I don't know if I'm going to be how I was before," she said. Argentina surpasses the 10,000 death mark only days after the Argentine Intensive Care Society warned that hospitals will soon reach their limits. The government reported on Monday that bed occupancy in intensive care units is almost 62% nationwide and 67.8% in the AMBA (Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area).
