Mushroom Photography in the Forest - Enchanting and Magical Photos

Armed with my Canon R6 Mark II, 50mm lens, and 105mm macro lens, I head into the forest in early October in search of mushrooms to photograph. After days of rain, the conditions are perfect for fungi growth. At first, I only find a few mushrooms that aren’t very photogenic, but then I stumble upon some stunning fly agaric mushrooms. They’re not easy to capture, but after crawling into the undergrowth, I manage to get some incredible shots. Exploring deeper, I discover an area rich with mushrooms of all shapes and sizes, and I share my best camera settings and tips for photographing fungi along the way. On the way back, I uncover what feels like a secret patch of mushrooms, impossible to resist photographing. As a bonus, I also encounter a horned, hairy cow (friendly, but not interested in me!).
