Join me as I tie my custom Roe Jig, a deadly salmon lure that's sure to attract attention on the water! In this tutorial, I'll walk you through the exact materials and techniques used to create this jig. Roe Jig Recipe: • Hook: 3/8 oz Gamakatsu 2X strong jig head hook • Thread: 140 Ultra Thread in neon pink • Tail: Salmon pink marabou feathers, zonker strip tail • Body: ○ Zonker wraps (rear section) ○ Pink rubber legs (midsection) ○ Marabou dubbing (using dubbing loop method) ○ UV Flashabou ○ Zonker strips (throughout body and to jig head) The Roe Jig starts with a 3/8 oz jig head hook from Gamakatsu's 2X strong line. I'll be using 140 Ultra Thread in neon pink to tie down the various components. The tail section features salmon pink marabou feathers topped with a zonker strip tail, providing a tantalizing movement in the water. The body is built up with zonker wraps, pink rubber legs, and marabou dubbing using a dubbing loop. To add some extra flash, I'll be incorporating UV Flashabou and zonker strips throughout the body. By the end of this tutorial, you'll have a solid understanding of how to construct your own Roe Jig and be ready to start catching salmon! Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or if you'd like to see any variations on this pattern. #salmonfishing #jigfishing #pnwfishing #fishinglures #flytying #fishingequipment #salmonfishingtips #salmonroe #salmon #fishing #shortsfeed #shortsvideo #kayakfishing #fishingvideo
