Day 2 – Karachi to Naran Kaghan Series Good Morning from Ghotki! We kicked off our journey early in the morning at 6:00 AM. The weather was cold and hazy, adding a beautiful atmosphere to the stunning views of open fields and rural life. Today’s target distance was around 377 to 380 km. As we made our way forward, we crossed from Sindh into Punjab at Ubauro. On the way, we stopped briefly to give Hassan Ali his polio vaccine—a small but important part of our day. Our first major stop was at Sadiqabad, where we had breakfast at the Jiwe Haq Bahoo Hotel around 8:30 AM. The food and warm hospitality gave us the perfect energy boost. As we approached Multan and its surroundings, we had the chance to visit some lush mango farms—a delightful highlight! With the sun climbing higher, the heat started to build up, so we refreshed ourselves with some traditional sugarcane juice, a classic treat in Pakistan. By 3:31 PM, we reached Shujaabad, but the journey took an unexpected turn. We noticed a suspicious person tailing us. To stay safe, we took an off-road detour to lose him—and Alhamdulillah, it worked. This detour added about 15 extra kilometers to our trip. We eventually made it to our destination: Shareef Bhai’s home, where we were welcomed with warmth. We spent the evening soaking in the village life, enjoying the sunset, and reflecting on an eventful day. End of Day 2 – Full of beauty, tradition, and a bit of adventure.
