Another one from the footage vault from 2024. I had sworn I had captured more footage of this one but towards the end of this project a lot of shit was going on in the shop and in life and so I guess maybe I was too busy to be bothered by filming. ohh well. It was a cool project and I and the client were super stoked with out it turned out. Not a full restoration, more of a budget restoration but everything was still done period correct - hot hide glue, handmade varnish etc... I fixed tao major crackes in the top as well as some minor cracks Cleated Repaired loose braces Rebuilt the bridge with a bone saddle piece "refreshed" the varnish finish then burnished it to cut down the sheen Fret job Refurbished all the tuning machines
