Innovation at its finest, on our recently completed Ashford project for our client CMDP - JV and ultimate client Southern Water. This project featured a remarkable 27m shaft constructed using the largest pre-cast concrete segments available, expertly supplied by Macrete Precast. This project is a testament to the collaborative strength and engineering expertise of the Joseph Gallagher Group, with vital support from NRC Plant Limited and Specialist Plant Associates. Due to some unforeseen higher ground water during construction, our JGL designers in Leeds, had to reactively challenge the standards to re-engineer the base slab depth to adeptly handle the challenging geotechnical conditions, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and innovative problem-solving. 🌟 This project not only highlights our capabilities but also shows the commitment to putting the engineering first to ensure the project was delivered on time and within budget whilst overcoming complex engineering challenges.
