The New Life Eph 4:17 Therefore, this I say and testify in the Lord: You are to no longer walk as the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Eph 4:18 being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their heart. Eph 4:19 Who being past feeling gave themselves up to sensuality, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Eph 4:20 But that is not the way you learned Christ! Eph 4:21 Assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus. Eph 4:22 Those things belonged to your former manner of life, which was corrupt through deceitful desires. Eph 4:23 But you, being renewed in the spirit of your mind, Eph 4:24 put on the new man, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Eph 4:25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, each one of you speak the truth with his neighbour. For we are members one of another. Eph 4:26 In your anger, do not sin! Do not let the sun set while you remain angry. Eph 4:27 Give no opportunity to the Devil! Eph 4:28 Let him that stole, steal no more, but rather let him labour, working with his hands what is good, so he may have something to give to him that has need. Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but as the need arises, speak that which is good for encouragement, that it expresses grace to those that hear you. Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by which you were sealed until the day of redemption. Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and railing be put away from you, along with all malice. Eph 4:32 And be kind to each other, sensitive, forgiving each other, even as God in Christ also forgave you.
