Rajasthan’s Covid Fight : Two- Week mini lockdown imposed in the state till May 3rd

As per reports from Rajasthan, the Gehlot government has imposed a 2-week mini lockdown amid covid surge which includes a shut down of all markets and offices upto the 3rd May with schools and colleges shut until 30th April. This public discipline fortnight, also called as the Jan Anushasan Pakhwarda has allowed only essential service providers to operate during this period. The Figures of positive cases in Rajasthan had increased upto 10,000 till saturday which urged the government to implement these new guidelines. As per these latest curbs, RT-PCR negative reports are mandatory for passengers, sale of groceries will be allowed till 7 PM, food takeaway allowed till 8 AM among other things.
