Here's an epic youth film*, conceived, developed, performed and filmed by 6th class, Scoil an Chlochair, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, within 3 hours. The film making workshops, directed by me, were funded by Westmeath County Library, for National Recreation Week, 2014. The film was shot on location at Kilbeggan Library and at Scoil an Chlochair. Editing by Artmedia AKA me and my husband, Kevin. Many thanks to the young film makers of Scoil an Chlochair for their fantastic work and huge energy. Great thanks also to their teacher, Charlie Moore, for facilitating such madness, under sweltering heat. Big thanks also to Ray, Catherine and Dearbhla at Westmeath County Library. Libraries will never be quite the same again ;o) For more information about my 90 minute film making workshops, email me at fiona.macginty@gmail.com. Check out Moate Library's film short: 'Libraries.
