5,000 Miles on the Sargent Touring Seat – Worth It for the Ducati Multistrada V4S?

After 5,000 miles in the saddle—including a nearly 4,000-mile round trip from Raleigh, NC, to the MotoGP race at COTA—it's time to give my honest review of the Sargent Touring Seat for my 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S. This seat upgrade was a game-changer. Comfort was significantly better than stock, especially on long riding days. While I had one small hiccup with a faulty heating element, Sargent's excellent warranty support resolved it quickly. I do find the DTX seat material a bit slippery, but the rubberized Gripzone sections offer great support where it matters most. The passenger heater control could use some design refinement, and the plastic seat screws were slightly shaved down, making them tough to turn by hand. Despite those minor issues, the seat still looks brand new after 5,000 miles, with no visible wear, and I would absolutely recommend it to any Multistrada owner looking to improve their long-distance riding comfort. 📦 Missed the unboxing video?
