Want commentary with this video? Turn on the captions! We’ve run into some time problems, and I don’t just mean clocks that fell behind… More like…we’re behind… Right? Time confuses me… So, here’s a quick explanation of what’s going on, in case you’re confused: This “extra” set of videos are about this game’s Ranger Net missions. These missions are download-only missions from Nintendo’s now cancelled Wi-Fi service, meaning that they are now impossible to get now, unless you downloaded them before the shutdown. This, and the next two missions, unlike the previous “special missions”, do not let you send any Pokémon to another main series Pokémon game. That is, you can’t send Dialga to a main series Pokémon game, for example. As I said before, you can’t download these missions anymore, and because of the game recognizes how these missions are unlocked, there are no cheat codes you can use to get these missions if you never got them. So how did I get these missions? It was very convoluted, so please don’t bother asking me how I got them, since it’s not very…readily accessible for anyone to do. It basically involved transferring my actual save file off my real game card and converting it into a format that this emulator can use. Because of that, I had to replay the game so that things like my name (Œuf, that is) and other such stuff would carry over. That’s how I could get play that Pachirisu quest from the all quests video, and that’s also why my levels, quest power-ups, and other stuff are off, because that was the only quest I did, and I just ran through it in a few hours with a 1-loop capture cheat code. Oh, also, you can’t play this mission without beating the game first. That’s it. That’s all you need to know.
