Tanjung Gemuk is a beach destination 2km north of Port Dickson along the coast, just a short distance away by car from PD town. Relatively small and undeveloped compared to other beaches, its primary attraction is the sea turtles that land here between April and September annually. This is the only spot in PD where wild turtles come to nest their eggs naturally. Glory Beach Resort manages the collection of eggs in a small hatchery on their hotel grounds, while promoting it as a tourist attraction. When the eggs hatch, hotel guests may participate in the release of baby turtles at night.
