A trip down South. Not saying Debbies Geography isn’t good but she thought i was going to near Manchester 🫣 Wouldn’t have been leaving at 9.30ish if that was the case 😂 Some away days you wished you’d next at all. This was one of them!! Beaten by the better team, I’d like to say we made them play the best they ever had to. That would be a lie, they just had to pass it well, have some pace and and hit the back of the net - job done. Probably doing Aldershot a disservice with that, as they’ve been on a fantastic run of form since John Coleman came in. He’s been around and seen it all before, so knows what he’s doing. The team are responding well to his methods and it shows. They look really fluid and attack well. We had chances ourselves though an inspired goalkeeping performance kept us out. The save from Westbrooke being the pick. Shots fans never shut up really for the whole game. That stand behind the goal with its barrel roof, resonates sound so well. Could the team be on a surge for the play off spots. Picking up points as they are, you wouldn’t put it past them. As for us, way we’re playing of late who lnows where we’ll finish the season. Somethings not clicking at the moment. Are the players comimg of the bench good enough? Do they add an extra dynamic? Credit has to go to the 384 traveling away fans. Some effort from all, just a shame we had nothing to watch of real quality. We created, just couldnt add the finishing touches. As for the corners 🙄🤣 Well up next York City visiting on Tuesday night, backed by a full away end. So let’s get to the game ourselves and get behind the team. Now is the time they need us.
