A few of you have been asking what I link of Bode Miller’s Peak Skis so I decided to put together this review to help give you insight on if it’s a ski you want to try. This season I teamed up with @peakskis they sent me these 88s in the 176cm length. I’ve also had my eye on @stockli for a while and when a used pair of Stormrider 88s (175cm length) became available, I knew this would be an awesome comparison! Overall, both skis are phenomenal. The peak skis are more snappy and quick from turn to turn whereas the stockli Stormrider was more damp. This made for easier off-piste skiing compared to the Stormrider. I struggled to get the Stormrider to ski through tight trees and bumps, however, they were much damper and smoother through the turn. I’d say the Peak 88s are more of a 50/50% on-piste to off-piste ski, whereas the Stormrider 88 felt more like a 75/25% on-piste to off-piste ski. From a price standpoint the Peaks are currently on sale for $699 (and if you use my code “LEGASKI” you’ll get an additional $75 off) where the Stormriders are listed at $829 on sale.
