Tips from other youtubers: From: kaysas32701 Ok I wanted to give a tip bc i tried this with both brown and white sugar (separate times of course) and with lemon juice as the acid and vinegar a different time as the acid. The problem i had was the wax was never syrupy enough at the temp to place on the body and was too hot if it was syrupy. I then had a bright idea: I warmed it up to pretty syrupy (stirrable) then added about 1/4 cup water in. I kept stiring until it all mixed in. It was syrupy at a normal waxing temp (100F ish). it doesn't get hard when coolef, its pliable like cool honey and like store brand sugar waxes (I'm comparing it to the texture of Nair Mango sugar wax). (even works on Brazilian for me)! Anyway hope this helps! This tip from swityy1: By mistake instead of 1/4 lemon & water i used 1/2 cup each. The result was much better & wax went 4 a longer time - i hope it helps 4 those whose wax is to hard This TIP from Crunchy 68 if your syrup cools to hard candy: soften it in the microwave, and added about 2-3 tbsp water to help soften it, this makes it stretchy & sticky even when totally cool. I spread some of that on a cloth strip, covered with a second cloth strip, peeled them apart, and each strip then worked (cold) like a pre-waxed store bought strip. Re-useable 4-5 times each.
