One of my dreams was to visit the gorgeous Fjords in Norway and when the dream came true, I was amazed by the beauty of the place, and also the enchanted hidden paths along the way. In my journey to the fjords, one unexpected train ride from Myrdal to Flam took my breath away, The Flam Railway is one of world's steepest railway lines and it goes from 865m above ground to sea level in just 50 min to experience some of the most dramatic and magnificent Norwegian nature. Here you can see rivers that cut through deep ravines, waterfalls that plunge from the steep cliffs of the snow-capped mountain slopes, as well as mountain farms clinging on to steep slopes. UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS! At the bottom of the Flåm Valley, you can admire the beautiful Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, the world's longest fjord. Looking at all this unexpected beauty I remember that most of us are so caught up in our daily routines, that most of the time, we miss out on amazing things in our own "backyard" (neighborhood, city or state). You would be surprised how many great things and places are within your reach. You don't have to go abroad to be amazed! Try to go through a different path in your way to work or home. Sometimes all it takes is to choose a new street to go through and then....BOOM! Just like magic, a new great place or event shows up that you never knew before. Check it out! You might be steeply surprised. ;-)
