Faircape trail heaven … something for everyone

Back to back mountain bike ride and this time me and Fayaad head to Faircape trails which are also part of the Tygerberg MTB network of trails. We again started at Contermanskloof, traversed over the Oaklands corridor and up Malanshoogte to Faircape. From there we headed to Spes Bona and cut across the Klipheuwel network back to Faircape. This trail is very underrated I feel but it has a bit of everything. It’s also perfect for anyone just starting out. The milkshake is the trickiest obstacle but perfectly doable for even a newcomer. And the Klipheuwel trails are non technical but allows newcomers to learn how to ride a bit of singletrack and how to traverse over A-frames.
