Scott Davis interviews George McKay & Hermione Corfield who presented the Ones to Watch Award at the 2018 Into Film Awards to Krizzah Policarpio (17) from Belfast who was nominated by her teacher, Tracy Rossborough, for her directing, scriptwriting, camera work, editing, film reviewing, and film reporting Ryan Ogden (18) from Tyne and Wear, who was nominated by teacher Daniel Clifford for his directing, scriptwriting, camera work, editing, and film reviewing Emily Fisher (16) from Northamptonshire, who was nominated by her teacher Paul Balmer for her superlative skills behind the camera. Young filmmakers from across the UK were recognised today as film education charity Into Film announced the recipients of its 4th annual Into Film Awards. Selected by a panel of industry leaders including Barbara Broccoli (Bond franchise) Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot), Peter Lord (Aardman Animations), casting director Lucy Bevan and director Ben Wheatley (Free Fire), Awards across 11 categories were given to a range of youngsters aged 9 to 19 at the red-carpet event hosted by TV & Radio presenter Gemma Cairney. Stars handing out the Awards included Gemma Arterton (Their Finest, Quantum of Solace), Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, Sherlock) Gwendoline Christie (Star Wars, Game of Thrones), Will Poulter (Detroit, The Revenant, The Maze Runner), Craig Roberts (Submarine), Kevin Guthrie (Dunkirk), Rhianna Dhillon (Radio 1 presenter), Hermione Corfield (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), Alexa Davies (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Detectorists), Fionn O'Shea (Innocent), Georgina Campbell (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Murdered by my Boyfriend), Rosie Day (Prime Suspect 1973), Susan Wokoma (Chewing Gum), Katie Leung (Harry Potter), Tomiwa Edun (Bates Hotel, What Happened to Monday) and George Mackay (Pride, Captain Fantastic).
