According to the mayor, 3 people were killed and 13 wounded. The attack came less than a day after 11 other rockets were fired at the city, one of the two main Ukrainian-held ones in the Donetsk province, the focus of an ongoing Russian offensive to capture eastern Ukraine's Donbas region. Distraught resident Nina Bilyk, 39, described about how she discovered her husband fatally injured in her backyard. (I) "saw my husband lying here (on the ground). His cigarette was still lit up. He was so badly injured that he died quickly. I don`t remember anything else, it`s just too horrible," she said. Dozens of houses were badly damaged. Residents worked together to clear the rubble and safeguard damaged properties. Valentyna Kondratieva, 75, was injured in the attack. She said she had neither the energy or the funds to rebuild her home.
