Filmed at The Foundling Museum in London on 27 May 2022, NW Live Arts presents their concert exploring a central question ‘Where will I be?’. This was the culmination of a project in partnership with storytellers from Single Homeless project. Alongside music from Bach to Bowie, from folk song to African and Indian music there is storytelling that is both powerful and entertaining about what it means to find friendship and a home. We curate performances of joyful music-making by world-class professional musicians, together with storytelling by people from marginalised communities. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive space for people to explore their individual creativity, whilst building self-esteem and confidence. At our events, you will be exhilarated by an eclectic collection of music from around the world, underpinned by powerful storytelling from those who face challenges in their daily lives. Our extraordinary musicians work sensitively with our community participants to present a woven narrative of music and words which reflect themes such as social injustice and the environment.
