Team staffs are looking different these days with the addition of personnel with titles like General Manager, Chief of Staff, Director of Player Personnel, Director of Player Acquisition, Chief Football Strategy Officer and more. In this workshop, which will include live Q&A, we'll talk about how staffs are evolving and best practices for integrating these new positions with existing coaching and recruiting staffs. Jeff Schemmel is Founder & President of College Sports Solutions, bringing more than three decades of leadership across collegiate athletics. John Hartwell is a Partner & Consultant at CSS and has nearly 30 years of NCAA DI leadership experience. A former athletic director at multiple FBS institutions, Hartwell combines his financial acumen as a CPA with a strong track record in coaching hires, facilities development, and sustainable program building. Chris Klieman most recently served as the head football coach at Kansas State University for seven years. Taking over for legendary coach Bill Snyder, Klieman compiled a 54-34 record in seven seasons at Kansas State. Previously, he won four FCS championships at North Dakota State.
