The NHL officiating has been and seems to always be a major topic of discussion especially in the Playoffs. So after seeing the brutal call over in the Boston Bruins vs Florida Panthers game last night, I figured surely that was the worst we’d see. Boy, was I was wrong. In the Vancouver Canucks vs Edmonton Oilers game, it was one of the worst officiated games I've seen in some time. The worst of which came in the 2nd where in a tied 2 2 hockey game, Connor McDavid caught Quinn Hughes with a brutal high stick that should have been a double minor. We also had Pettersson get hit from behind, Myers hit Janmark similarly along the boards and just overall, several questionable calls.
