A review on a Dubbing Loop Tool that I have been using for several years. (Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post and I purchased the tools) Pros: 1. Twists/Spins like a dream. 2. Has a bit of weight so it closes the loop by itself and doesn't come undone or lose material 3. Bends at a 90 degree and still swivels perfectly as you wrap it around the hook shank. 4. Has hooks that easily apply to the dubbing loop and hold it in place. 5. When you let it rest off the shank of the hook and the base is against your work bench it doesn't untwist. 6. Lastly the company stands behind their product. Cons: 1. If you don't unhook the thread before clipping, it ends up in the hook arms and you will have to manually remove it or snip it out. 2. Its pretty tall so if you have a large dubbing loop then you definitely need to turn it at a 90 degree to twist it around the shank of the hook otherwise it hits on your table or vise base.
