Winter Spiti 4x4 Expedition in Hilux Avalanche Stranded us in Minus 25 degrees in Extreme Winter Spiti @ Minus 30 degrees during 4x4 Snow Drive Expedition in Hilux due to landslide and avalanche- From Feb 27 to March 04 2025 The Spiti valley was cut off from other parts of Himachal Pradesh as incessant snow led to a huge avalanche near Pooh and a landslide after Nako which restricted to movement and close to 500 cars were stuck, we were in Kaza from Feb 27 onwards and witnessed extreme snow fall which was more than 3 to 4 feet, the roads towards hikkim and key monastrey were closed we drove in this snow as we exited Kaza on March 02 but were again stopped at Tabo for two days as the roads were still blocked due to landslide. During this perios from Feb 27 to March 04, 2025 there was no electricity and mobile network was restored only after 4 days after feb 27. In this episode i show the drive from Kalpa to Kaza and the conditions in Kaza and our drive shots from my camera and drone. The 4x4 vehicles also struggled but we somehow managed inextreme cold near minus 30 degreess, My hilux on stock tyres was ok but got stuck once and was pulled out. it performed good mostly and the diesel engine started even in minus 30 degrees which is a speciality of Hilux #toyotahilux #snowdrive #winterspiti
