As well as being a project it is also a experiment for me. To try different methods of restoring and enchancing this kind of material. So there may be differences in the technique used on the different videos from this show. There are some AI artifacts that can be spotted but seing how this is an ongoing project, there will be a better version in the future. When I'm done I will publish the whole concert as one video, and apply the best technique to the whole show, to get "the ultimate version" of the show! The whole concert isn't easy, because it has a lot of gloom and halos. Originally i planned on turning the oversaturation down, but I felt it lost it's charm. The colors are somewhat tuned, but it still has the insane colors like the original. There is still some Ai artifacts on the audience that I couldn't remove, so please focus on the band, haha! I also experimented with using the original mix because the new one is very loud.. But the original one has way to much audience noise, so I ended up sticking to the newest one with some tweaking. Otherwise it has been deinterlaced, manually corrected, and upscaled several times using different AI models. It is also been exported to 4k for less youtube compression. Enjoy! I will be posting a lot of rare and exciting remastered Rush material on this channel in the future. So please subscribe and stay tuned! Being inspired by Stickhits and Rush-Archives. I have used the last months gathering and remastering rare Rush footage. I have put in several hundred hours of work learning how to upscale, color correct, and remove artifacts etc. I am by no way or form at the top of the game. But I try my best so that we can enjoy rare and older Rush footage in the best quality possible. My vision is to have rare, rough, and old Rush material available in the best quality possible. So that it can be relished and enjoyed by fans in a more "modern" fashion. Since most of this has been upscaled using AI there may be some artifacts in some of the videos. Hopefully as the technology progresses, we will be able to have results without these. But as I said, these are not meant to be perfect, they are meant to give a better visual presentation than the original low quality files. I do not make any money off this, and neither should I.
