Pablo Casals Elif Sezen, cello Geoff Lynch, piano This performance was recorded at the beautiful St Stephen’s Anglican Church in Richmond on 29 January 2026. Elif Sezen is an Australian/Turkish multidisciplinary artist, poet/writer, violin and cello enthusiast. She was introduced to violin in her early twenties when she briefly studied under Turkish violist/violinist Alp Gültekin at the Epik School of Music. Fourteen years later she re-connected with violin and with Maestro Gültekin. More recently, she started studying cello under Ilona Grushynska, continuing her musical journey. https://www.elifsezen.com Geoff Lynch is a Melbourne-based classically trained pianist and composer, with a bachelor’s degree in music education. He has a particular interest in classical music of the twentieth century and is one half of a musical duo with Elif Sezen, playing piano with her violin and cello performances.
