American's reverse herringbone business class seat is still one of the best business class product in the sky. It's very spacious, private, and comfortable. American has teamed up with Casper to furnish their in-flight mattress pad, duvet, and pajamas while Cole Haan still produces their amenity kit. This flight departed past midnight, so the service was an abbreviated late night supper meal. mid-flight snacks were available on request and a walk-up bar was available during the flight. Breakfast service was done 90-minutes before landing with the typical continental or hot egg dish. Overall, the meals during the flight though not stellar, was sufficient and plenty. The Casper pajamas, bedding and mattress pad were a nice bonus and very comfortable for this 14 hour flight to Hong Kong, though the new Cole Haan amenity kit was a bit cheap and disappointing. The crew was attentive and my wine glass was proactively refilled without me asking (though smiles cost extra).
